Sports and The Benefits
Sports in a big part in school especially public schools. But us as Adventist we don't really support or are involved in sports as much as the rest of the world. Which in my opinion is bad because sports is more then just a way to stay in shape. Regardless of what people say sports can be very helpful, especially to kids. Children have to be active every day. Physical activity stimulates
growth and leads to improved physical and emotional health. Today,
research shows that the importance of physical activity in children is
stronger than ever. Another thing that kids learn from sports is sharing and team work which will definitely help them when is comes to real life situations. There is more then just these benefits, kids who are active are less likely to get sick and suffer from various health diseases when older. Exercise also helps relief stress, and Even
moderate physical activity has been shown to improve a child’s skill at
arithmetic, reading, and memorization. Sports can also boost the self-esteem and confidence of the children as well, especially when they find a sport they are good at. So in my opinion I think we should include sports more.
